Flint Hills Breadbasket staff offer assistance to SNAP-eligible individuals and households to complete the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program application. This help is provided to make it easier and faster to get signed up for SNAP benefits. Call 785-537-0730 for an appointment.

The bottom line is that no one should be hungry. Common Table invites everyone to join us for a hot meal in peace and with dignity.
Meals are served seven nights a week at 6pm in the cafeteria at the Lincoln Education Center, 901 Poyntz Avenue.
Enter the cafeteria through door #6 which is located in the courtyard on the south side of the building at the west end.
Doors open nightly at 5:30pm. Dinner is served at 6pm. Doors close at 7pm.
Common Table is currently not providing to go meals and is not providing sack lunches for the next day.
Breakfasts are still being served at Vineyard Community Church, 2400 Casement Road (Sundays 9:45-10:30am); First Presbyterian Church, 801 Leavenworth (Wednesdays 7:30-8:15am); and St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 601 Poyntz (Tuesdays and Fridays 7-8:30am).

Our Emergency Financial Assistance Program aims to provide support to individuals and families facing crises in the Northern Kansas community.
Financial Assistance: We may be able to offer up to $150 in a one-year period for rent, utilities, and/or prescriptions, depending on the availability of funds and your qualifying status.

Family Crises Response Helpline
By connecting families quickly to supports and services, the Family Mobile Crisis Helpline de-escalates crises and prevents the need for more restrictive interventions. The continuum of services is prepared and ready to help by offering one or more of the following:
Over-the-phone support and problem solving to help resolve a child’s behavioral health crisis.
Over-the-phone support with referral to community resources or a recommendation to engage in stabilization services.
In-person support via mobile crisis response.
In emergency situations, EMS, law enforcement and/or a mobile crisis response unit will be contacted to assist.
